Francis Doe had a pretty nice free kick a few weeks ago for Selangor. His goal helped them win the game and avoid relegation for this coming season. For the goal, skip to the 51 second mark.

Andy Najar scores game-winner, puts Honduras through to Gold Cup semifinals - Black And Red United
(If you're asking yourself, "did he just link us to another Black & Red United post?" the answer is, "yup.")

Using Adam's words, "our Andy" (and yes, agreed, he'll always be OUR Andy) returned to the DMV recently and didn't disappoint scoring the game's only goal (and his first international one) on a header in the 49th minute. The goal gave Honduras the win over Costa Rica and helped them reach the semi-finals of the Gold Cup where, last night, they ran up against our USMNT and lost 3-1 at the hands (or feet I should say) of Eddie Johnson, Landon Donovan, and the rest of the stars and stripes crew. Anyhow, check out Najar's header via You-Tube.

Salihi: "Albania may qualify for Brazil" - FIFA.com

Strong and confident words from the Albanian striker, but hey, he's right. Albania actually has a shot at qualifying for the World Cup. Check out this article of FIFA.com where Salihi talks about the qualifying run, his career thus far, optimism, and travel (Translation needed).

That does it for this month, check out the poll. Oh, and... PRAY THAT THIS STADIUM DEAL GOES THROUGH!
