United homegrown player Andy Najar got some playing time with Anderlecht's U21 team, scoring a goal and an assist. He came on for the first team in the 56th minute of Anderlecht's 7-0(!) win over Royal Excel Mouscron for his first senior team minutes since April's ACL injury. Bienvenido a tu equipo Andy!

The D.C. United Academy youth team is in Chicago competing at the 2016 Generation Adidas Cup, and before their match today they received a nice little pep talk from Eddie Johnson. The recently retired Johnson was able to share a few words of encouragement and pose for a picture with the team before their match. I don't know about you, but if a former U.S. international stopped by to wish me luck when I was a kid, I would have scored 11 goals. A nice gesture by EJ and a great moment for those kids!
