Last minute thoughts:  Temper your expectations.  Yeah I said it.  If you read my MLS predictions earlier this morning, then you know what I think of this DC United team.  You know what I think they are capable of.  But this season will be a long road, and there's really no reason to believe that our defense will be significantly better than last year's in this particular match.  Wallace is getting his first start on the backline and may not necessarily be an upgrade over Burch week one.  They will grow and they will gel with the addition of Pena and when Namoff (or at least McTavish) is healthy.  But for now, I'm worried that they may still be prone to mistakes, as they have been the previous two years.

DC United can win this match.  I'd like to believe that they will.  The whole offseason has been building up to this match.  I'm ready.  And I know our boys are too.

This is your place for any and all pre-game, in-game, and post-game thoughts.
