Another poll. I think it's going to be my theme. And don't be dizzy. You've seen it before.

OK, now, commentariat, you are invited back to an old poll, but a good one. If I may be so bold.

The poll is: Who is going on the wall with Benny? With Moreno? With Etcheverry? With Facundo Erpen? Wait, who?

Come on, raise your hand if you know Erpen. The comments section, please, with favorite Erpen stories.

OK, so, old poll, but a fresh question, because, now we know something. Namely, four games.

Only this time, the poll has grown.

As has our expectations. And our place on Power Rankings.

Anyway, here's the deal. You bravely choose in an anonymous poll who will be a club legend, and then you slink your argumentative tails to the comment section, with a brand new-awesome-sauce hot take, slightly cold. Four games cold, to be precise.

The poll, ladies (because we know filmgirl is a girl, at least. There's a fucking gif, afterall) and gentlemen:

It's a cage match, this time. It's not only cage, it's an octagon. EIGHT CHOICES!!!!!!

In corner number 1, we have Bruno Miranda. Benny hasn't really played him. I know, he doesn't develop the young'ens, some will say. Although, he did give Najar his jersey number before he became coach in 2010. Just saying. (Honestly, if you choose this guy, PLEASE defend yourself in the comment section. I'm curious).

In corner number 2, is Jalen Robinson. Not a new signing, you say? WELL, that's not the poll, is it? It's club legend. And let's be real, Jalen Robinson is playing like a club legend. Bobby Boswell was a great DC defender. Ryan Nelsen was a club legend. Eddie Pope is on the wall. Is Jalen Robinson BETTER than them? He might have made a point in 4 games, but now, we'll never know. This is not a stupid choice.

In corner number 3, Canouse. I can spell his name backwards now, and it's a damn weird name. Almost as weird as seriously, is it Buescher or Buscher, and are we stupid for choosing either? Anyway, IMO Brian Carroll is a DC legend. Same with Richie Williams, the shortest genius on the team till maybe Acosta. Clyde Simms also had some damn good games, and could shoot from outside the box to boot. Kitchen was a real talent real fast, and is now in the wilderness. What's my point? My point is, DM's are important, and Canouse is making waves. He's my pick. I'm not taking the poll, because I don't vote in my own polls. But yeah, he's looking good.

In corner number 4, is Stieber. He's 28. He's not a creative genius, probably, and kinda fast, and hasn't assisted, but does it matter when he's taking set pieces? And being useful? And reminding us all a little of LEWIS NEAL? Tell me it's not just me. In the comment's section.

In corner number 5, is none other than "I like him better than Kellyn Rowe despite stats," ARriOLlA!!!!!" You know him, you've seen him play, and we've won with him so far. Except last time. But still, he's going to be a favorite. Whether or not that's clowded by Arena's judgment. If you ask me? Rowe is better. But you're not asking me.

In corner number 6, is DeLeon. Yep. DeLeon. Yes, THAT DeLeon. He's not a new signing, but forget it if you don't have him in the 18, let alone on the pitch. Part of me wants to bench him. So we can have ONE PLAYER who can start or contribute at LM, RM, CM, RB, LB, RWB, LWB, DM, even, maybe??? Who cares!!!! And raise your hand in the comment section if you ever, ever considered trading him or not protecting him in the expansion draft. You thought I forgot. I didn't.

In corner number 7, is... Kofi Opare? or Birnbaum? Fuck it, let's have them both be an option.

And last, a ragged figure comes from outside the arena. He's drunk, cocky, and sure footed still. He's a loud mouth, a braggart, and an asshole. His name? Folks call him Nobody, he says. Nobody? That's your fight name? He says, sure, why not.

And there you have it, 8 kind of strangers locked in an octagon of public opinion. The only problem is, only one of them can be picked. Yes, I cheated with Opare and Birnbaum, but neither is a club legend yet.

Anyway, to the poll!!!!!

P.S. Yes, I wrote this at 5:30 at night. I am bipolar. Sleep didn't happen. So, that's the last thing I have to say about it.

Enjoy the poll!

WAIT.... There's no poll? I'm lazy. Fight it out in the comment section. :) As Stallone has said about fifty times in a commercial, be bold!
