Eric Klenofsky is towering 6'6'' goalkeeper who was drafted last month by D.C. United. You might have recognized him commanding the box in the friendly against Jönköpings Södra IF. Before then though, Klenofsky was just like the rest of us, 9 years old, playing recreational soccer. Check out this picture that Eric's dad shared, 14 years before Klenofsky would join up with the Black-and-Red.

United homegrown player Andy Najar got some playing time with Anderlecht's U21 team, scoring a goal and an assist. He came on for the first team in the 56th minute of Anderlecht's 7-0(!) win over Royal Excel Mouscron for his first senior team minutes since April's ACL injury. Bienvenido a tu equipo Andy!

With a 1-0 lead in the second half of their game against the Orlando Pride on Friday night, the Washington Spirit's Caprice Dydasco won the ball in the Spirit's defensive third. What followed was a string of fourteen passes that resulted in Katie Stengel finding a wide open Christine Nairn to beat Ashlyn Harris and put the Spirit up 2-0. The Spirit went on to win 2-1.
