Andy Najar and his Honduras squad have qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil! This is Honduras' second consecutive World Cup appearance. We can all look forward to watching the former MLS Rookie of teh Year in action next summer in Brazil.

Freddie Adu , former USMNT team poster-boy, no longer seems unique | The National

The article above talks of the rise, the pressure put on, and the short comings for Freddy Adu. It seems like Adu has also found his way back on the bench for Bahia as he was not in the 18 for their 1-0 loss to Sao Paulo last weekend. Instead, Adu was found on Instagram, straight flexin'.

Branko Boskovic helped Wayne Rooney and the England national team by spotting them a goal in their world cup qualifying matchup. Boskovic poked one into his own net in the 62nd minute. England would go on to win 4-1. Bockovic's squad is 4-3-3 in WC qualifying with 15 points, which means we won't see Boskovic in Brazil in 2014. Bummer.

Switzerland qualify for finals thanks to win in Albania - World Cup 2014 - Football - Eurosport Australia

Hamdi Salihi's Albania squad is also out of the World Cup picture after a loss to Switzerland. Maybe him, Boskovic, and Adu can all get together and watch the games this summer.
