GameThread: Houston Dynamo At D.C. United
We talked earlier in the week about this being a must-win match for D.C. United. With the Houston Dynamo sitting just five points ahead of United in the standings, this might be the most important match left on our schedule.
Game time: 7:30 PM
Television: Comcast SportsNet
Projected Starting Lineup: Branko Boskovic is likely to return to the starting lineup this week, but other than that change, we'll probably see the same lineup as the team that came 10 minutes from defeating the Los Angeles Galaxy in L.A. last week.
If you're going to the game, sing loud and have fun. If not, this is your place for pre-game, in-game, and post-game discussions.

United starting lineup
Perkins
McTavish, Jakovic, James, Zayner
Najar, Morsink, Boskovic, Quaranta
Allsopp, Hernandez
Surprised to see McTavish starting ahead of Graye.

These guys didn't read my post?
Nobody is playing like this is a must-win game. Not what I expected to see. But I guess its still early.

Halftime subs
I’d like to see Moreno come in for Allsopp. Allsopp has done nothing tonight.

Well, that sucked.
Do we expose/release Perkins? Do we hang on to Boskovic and Hernandez - they look useful at times, but are they worth the money? Can we win anything with Tino as a standard member of the starting XI? Is the James/Jakovic pairing good enough for a contending team?
And those are the good assets.
Najar is gone, as soon as some top flight team can pony up the money and he’s old enough to join them. He’s wayyy too classy for this league. And once he’s gone, what’s left?

Perkins
I don’t think we can afford to outright release him — we are going to be paying for him for several years I believe. Maybe someone on here knows his contract, but I think we are kind of stuck with him.

Ugh...
It’s almost laughable at this point, but wow — another error in the back and we fall apart. Sad sad sad….
