Jalen Robinson joins US U-23s for Toulon Tournament

The Homegrown Player goes to France and hopefully will get a cap or Two.

In a tweet Saturday night that hequickly deleted, D.C. United homegrown defender Jalen Robinson announced news of a national team nature, and now U.S. Soccer has made it official that Robinson will be part of the 19-man roster for the United States to participate in the Toulon Tournament, which begins Wednesday in France. National Team coach Andi Herzog will add one more to the roster, which currently includes players such as Julian Green and Jordan Morris. In addition, former 2015 D.C. draft pick Dan Metzger joins Robinson and the others for the tournament.

The 19 man roster is listed below:
