Filibuster Podcast - Week 30: A long slow descent into hell

On tap tonight: a Matador, Abita Turbo Dog, Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA.

The Filibuster guys are back once again and are following D.C. United on their long slow descent into hell. The talk about Bill Hamid's performance against the New England Revolution, whether or not there is a goalkeeping controversy with Joe Willis in the US Open Cup Final. They then (unfortunately) have to talk about the rest of the defense's performance in that game, ponder whether or not United could even get Dejan Jakovic off their books if they tried, and consider whether Conor Shanoksy has a chance to start next Tuesday in Salt Lake City. They then talk about all of their various central midfield options and whether or not there are any magical German measures of healing them.

The guys finish up the episode talking about the latest edition of the Relegation Bowl against Toronto FC, talking about which of D.C. United's young players will feature and where on the field they will be deployed. The finish up talking about Monumental Network, GolTV, and where you can watch the Open Cup Final (channel 456 on DirecTV; Standard def only!). Have a listen and join our sadness party.
