MLS Power Rankings, Week 34: Red line defined

The red line was drawn, and we know which teams are playoff bound in this final edition of the Power Rankings.

Week 34. Decision Day. For several teams, playoff hopes, seedings and a Shield were up for grabs. And with the red playoff line highlighted the entire week, 12 teams will move onto the postseason. First off, congratulations to FC Dallas, who captured the Supporters Shield last night with their draw against the LA Galaxy. It's their second trophy of the season, having already won the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup last month, and they will be looking to bring home the treble.

Second, the Decision Day format is one that deserves major kudos. It was great to have all the matches kick off at once and have that drama and energy throughout the afternoon. The whiparound show was decent, although with D.C. United playing a match that meant something, I spent most of my time watching. I just wish I could watch more than one match on my TV, but there was plenty positive about the day.

And now, the final rankings of the year. Of course, the Supporters Shield winners finish off at #1, with our Black-and-Red dropping a couple spots to #6. All the playoff teams make the top 12. The Chicago Fire are the team that most wants it to be the offseason, as they finish the season in the basement. Alright, your turn. Who are the teams to beat in the playoffs? Which teams had you going "Good, they missed the cut" and which teams worry you in the playoffs? You know the drill...hit the comments section and let's hear it!
