Due to extreme weather yesterday in Kansas City, D.C. United's flight was diverted to Chicago. And due to continuing bad weather, United is unable to get to Kansas City, forcing MLS to delay the game. The game will still be played today but, to allow for travel and for some of the storms to pass, the game has been moved to 9:30PM Eastern time. United chartered a plan to fly them to Kansas City, which recently landed.

The other options were to play the game tomorrow or move the game to later in the season. That last option would have obviously been the worse, and it is good that it has been avoided. Tonight's game was scheduled to be shown on UniMas, and it looks like they will show the game at its new time as well but the game will be shown on Univision Deportes. So, we get some suprise #DCUAfterDark to go along with our Viernes de Futbol!
