Since I am not a season ticket holder yet, I keep going to games hoping to see fan excitement and team spirit, so that I find a reason to buy season tickets. I was happy to see a lot of fan excitement, but after going to yesterday's home opener, I am shocked to see how little the team supports its own fans. Sitting in the parking lot tailgating with the "Screaming Eagles", I did not see any other fan tents or any merchandise tents to buy a new hat or jersey. In addition, I did not see any player flags hanging from the parking lot lights. Honestly, I am just shocked to see how little the team wanted to show its fans how excited it was to kick off a new season and to have them back supporting the Black and Red Nation.

With all of that being said, I will not be buying season tickets for my girlfriend and I until we know the team really wants to show how much it wants devoted fans just like our favorite NFL team the Baltimore Ravens do.
