There wasn't much movement in the power rankings this week, and I have a feeling that this will be true for much of the remainder of the season. Everyone is about where they're supposed to be. Real Salt Lake deserves to be in first place. And they deserve to be joined by the Columbus Crew, Los Angeles Galaxy, and FC Dallas.
I think we'll see the Seattle Sounders and New York Red Bulls remain in the second tier for the rest of the season, but the five teams below them are likely to continue to bounce up and down and around.
The big results of the week: Columbus's dominance of the Colorado Rapids knocked the Rapids down a level. The Chicago Fire's loss to Houston will get me to stop whining about them being underrated for at least one week. And the Kansas City Wizards' defeat of the New England Revolution caused the two teams to swap spots.

Have a feeling the Quakes will fall back down to tier 3 after facing New York’s superstars this weekend.
