The question this week for me: When are people going to wake up on the Houston Dynamo? They are winless in MLS since May 22. That's seven straight matches without a victory where it really matters. Their 0-4-3 record during that time is worse than DC United (1-3-3) and every other member of the fourth tier. This is my first week rating them in the bottom grouping. Perhaps some other voters will start to do the same next week if they lose again this Saturday to the Red Bulls.
At the top of the rankings, we witness this week the Columbus Crew passing Real Salt Lake thanks to the Crew's 3-0 defeat of the Dynamo and RSL's disappointing tie against Chivas USA. But they both received first tier votes from every blogger, so no worries.
We also have the Colorado Rapids dropping down to the third tier following their loss to the Seattle Sounders, and the New England Revolution dropping back down to the fourth despite having four straight victories in all competitions, including wins over the Galaxy and Pumas. Eh, these things happen.
