MLS Power Rankings, Week 13: Two way out front

Colorado and Dallas are pulling away from the pack in this week's Power Rankings.

We have two teams who have created some separation from the rest of MLS. Through 13 weeks of the season, the Colorado Rapids and FC Dallas have created a 6 point gap from the rest of the league in the Supporters Shield standings and remain 1 and 2 in this week's Power Rankings. Behind them, a peloton of 7 teams are bunched up ready to try and make their move on the leaders. So far, however, Colorado and Dallas have maintained a clear gap.

This week marks the last set of matches before MLS hits the Copa America break, so some teams will be itching to get those last few points before the league is off for a couple weeks. Still, there are only 6 league matches in Week 14, so some teams are already thinking about how to close the gap on the leaders. As they return, teams will have to deal with the U.S. Open Cup and then jump back into a loaded schedule. Hopefully, the teams will get some rest because the heat of the summer race will lead to a wild chase.

So, let's hear from you now. Are Colorado and Dallas poised to continue their run? Is there a team out there that's set up to make a move on the leaders? Which teams will continue to slip. Hit the comments and speak your mind!
