Come to the Black and Red United tailgate on June 3!

Whether the team on the field is good or bad, we like to think of this little corner of the internet as a community, and sometimes, we like to bring that community out into tangible space. At D.C. United’s next home game, June 3 against the Fightin’ Curt Onalfos (a/k/a the LA Galaxy), we’ll do just that as we throw one of our famous* tailgate/meetups.

Find all the details at our Facebook page, but here’s the big stuff: Tailgate starts at 3, game kicks off at 7. The club is graciously providing us with a tent so we’ll have shade from the sun or cover from the rain, as the case may be. We’re all about that pot luck life, so please bring some food and drink to share.

As an added bonus for those who’d like to join folks from the tailgate inside the stadium, we’ve got a block of seats reserved for us in Section 334 — at the back of the Loud Side of RFK — so if you’re so inclined, do be sure to buy through this ticket link to make sure you’re with the group.

Whether you’re a regular commenter who’s been around since the site launched, a newcomer who’s never commented, or anything in between, We hope you’ll join us June 3. It’ll be fun. We promise. Also, possibly, weird — like, anthropomorphic tennis ball stealing our beer and posing for photos weird.
