Been thinking this over the past few months and last night (news of Nigel DeJong) happened, and I'm pretty sure it's true. Here is my evidence:
- Our team colors are what, black and red. Red means fire and blood... check. Black means power, death, evil, and mystery... big ol' double check.
- DCU was the best of the league in the first few seasons. An Empire some might say.
- Ben Olsen, beloved player and current coach, harps on one thing over and over. The fight. He may mean effort, but you think he'd use that term once in a while? You know who looks for the fight? The bad guys.
- How often is DCU the bully on the field? The one pushing. The one hitting first? On a recent mic'ed up with Ben Olson, he literally tells Brown to "hit him first".
- Lastly, Marco Etcheverry, one of the most decorated players for DCU and essentially started our traditions, is nicknamed "The Devil"
- Anything else?
This obviously means that the Bulls in Jersey are the good guys, or possibly just other bad guys.

Next question is whether or not we're cool with that? Should we embrace being the bad guys? Could be fun, but not family friendly.
