Today is that magical day we all remember from elementary school. Not only is it Friday, it's also a day with a substitute teacher.
Hello, class, I'm Mr. Taylor. I have the worst chalkboard handwriting you'll ever see, and I don't really have a lesson plan, so today we're just going to watch Free Willy. Because that's what my substitute teachers in the 90s always did, and history has a way of repeating itself.
Oh, also, because this particular substitute is a degenerate gambler who grew up in the general vicinity of Louisville, Ky., I'll also drop in this nice video about the most exciting two minutes in sports.
Like I said, no lesson plan today. That's it for today's Freedom Kicks. What does your normal teacher have you do? Participate or anything? Why don't you let me know in the comments, along with anything that's catching your eye in the world of D.C. United and soccer in general.
Something something commentariat something something!!
