The Black and Red starts things early again, now we learn just when this happens.

D.C. United has learned the dates of their two leg quarterfinal playoff with Liga MX side Queretaro in the 2015-16 CONCACAF Champions League tournament, so I'll turn it over to Charles Boehm:

This puts the time between now and then at 83 days, or 51 days between now and the start of preseason on January 22, a preseason where the other MLS teams in the competition (LA Galaxy, Seattle Sounders and Real Salt Lake) will also start.

We'll bring you more about Queretaro in the weeks and months ahead (including Los Gallos Blancos' bottom half of the table finish in this past Apertura), and as we learn about where D.C. will spend their preseason, we will bring that to you as well. But in the meantime, start your airfare monitoring.
