D.C. United was missing their coach due to a suspension and faced a New England Revolution side that was also inconsistent and underachieving. But the Black-and-Red persevered en route to a 3-0 win that will hopefully buoy some confidence, but in the meantime, let's look at some things that occurred during the game that caught our eye.

The first was Fabian Espindola's first (FFS) long distance attempt at goal:

Fabi, Bruh.

The second was Marcelo Sarvas' PK call. Um, yeah, he kinda helped that along falling over Je-Vaughn Watson like that:

Next up was a nifty pass from Patrick Nyarko to Chris Rolfe in a sequence where the Chicago Fire alums knew where each would be:

Next is a sequence I'll label "Fabian Espindola, 2016." Dude does another one of his dumb-ass shots from distance, then calls for a sub:

Flash forward to late in the game and Luciano Acosta's chip for the brace. Upon reflection, could Bobby Shuttleworth have come out farther? Yeesh:

Finally, another position where Lucho put himself in a good spot, a sexy exchange with Sean Franklin, who ran his butt off Saturday:

So what did you see that you liked?
