David Beckham, Chris Rolfe, and Patrick Nyarko: Freedom Kicks for 28 April 2016

Beckham's road to a Miami team keeps hilariously fumbling.

It is a rainy morning here in Richmond, but just like the post office, Black & Red United are here for you despite the weather. On to the links!

Chris Rolfe leading the charge for D.C. United against Chicago | WJLA: D.C. United's new media partner has been producing some nice videos; this time they take a look at Chris Rolfe.

D.C. United's Nyarko returns to face Chicago Fire: From the Chicago side there is a look at the other Fire alumnus in the starting lineup. Of note: Nyarko almost went to the LA Galaxy before Olsen swooped in and convinced him to come to DC.

Knee injury could shelve Kickers goalkeeper Ryan Taylor for the duration - Richmond Times-Dispatch: Richmond-kickers: The Richmond Kickers starting goalkeeper has a suspected torn ACL and MCL and is probably done for the season; the only other keeper on their roster is an Academy player who is still in high school. Normally, one of United's goalkeepers would be there to share the starting duties, but due to injuries there is no one available. So, like last year when they got Trevor Spangenberg from the New England Revolution for one game, the Kickers will have to get some short-term loans from other MLS teams. Get healthy soon, Charlie Horton, and get some time in Richmond.

Insider Notes: Mourinho has PSG interest; MLS in Miami, Detroit?: PSG's Qatari owners are out of David Beckham's ownership group, which means that he still lacks a money man to pay for the stadium and the team. Chances of Miami starting play in 2018 are quickly dropping.

Soccer stadium's approval, funding unclear: The proposed Detroit MLS team wants to put their stadium on the site of a proposed jail, but all of this is still very early days.

Copa America 2016: TV schedule: You know want these details.

That's all I've got. What's up?
