Monday Freedom Kicks: Playoffs? Playoffs!

We look back at yesterday for the local club and the partners, and the best interpretation of a Schwarzenegger film.

Yesterday was fun. Perhaps most fun?

Recaps of D.C. United's win over New York City FC from us (with more from us here), MLS (with more from them here and here) and the Washington PostHudson River Blue has things covered from the Citeh lite side.

John Hackworth Names 32 Players to 2016 U-17 MNT Fall Residency Roster - U.S. Soccer: D.C. United player Chris Durkin continues his time in Bradenton, as does Academy player Chandler Vaughn.

Bob Bradley falls in first Premier League match - Stars and Stripes FC: In sorta partner club news, Bob Bradley's first game helming Swansea City at Arsenal was entertaining, despite the 3-2 loss. Swans are now in the relegation zone, 19th of 20 teams.

Inter Milan 1-2 Cagliari: A Sunday afternoon from hell - Serpents of Madonnina: In more partner club news, a late goal from Cagliari put them over Inter Milan, and put the Nerazurri into the bottom half of the table. There is also an escalating feud between some of Inter's Ultras and Inter captain Mauro Icardi, which started when them saying he was finished following some statements about them by him in his autobiography. Icardi responded magnanimously but said something off the cuff and some Ultras apparently went after one of his cars.

Finally, whoever decided to make the 1980s Arnold Schwarzenegger film "Commando" into a Japanese television show is a genius. A mad, mad, genius.
