Fantasy Focus: Boo This Man

Eh.

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

This week's high scorer is Denison Cabrallstars, with 93 points. A trio of players scored 12 points to lead the team -- Diego Valeri (POR, $10.3), Quincy Amarikwa ($6.1), and Robbie Keane (LA, $11.8) -- with each of them scoring a goal and assisting on another. In It Toux Wynne It is still the leader overall.

Positional Leaders

Goalkeepers

Steve Clark (CLB, $5.2) earned a clean sheet and scored 10 points to lead all goalkeepers. Just behind him, both Tyler Deric (HOU, $4.3) and Bobby Shuttleworth (NE, $4.6) earned 9 points, Deric with a clean sheet and Shuttleworth with a saved penalty. Bill Hamid ($5.5) scored 3 points for United.

Defenders

Toronto's Nick Hagglund ($5.3) earned a clean sheet and an assist for 11 points and the lead among defenders. Carlos Salcedo (RSL, $5.4) deputized for the suspended Nat Borchers and scored a goal and 9 points. Six defenders earned a clean sheet and scored 8 points to tie for third -- Michael Parkhurst (CLB, $7.9), David Horst (HOU, $6.5), Heath Pearce (MTL, $5.7), Liam Ridgewell (POR, $7.6), DaMarcus Beasley (HOU, $8.1), and Carlos Valdes (PHI, $7.3). DCU's defenders were led by Bobby Boswell ($8.8) with 7 points, while Steve Birnbaum ($5.3) scored 4, Sean Franklin ($7.4) scored 2, and both Taylor Kemp ($4.9) and Chris Korb ($5.6) scored 1.

Midfielders

D.C.'s Luis Silva ($6.8) scored 13 points on the strength of two goals for the midfield lead. Valeri's 12 points were good for second, and Dilly Duka (MTL, $5.8) scored a goal and 9 points. The rest of United's midfield featured Davy Arnaud ($6.3) and Perry Kitchen ($6.5) with 2 points, as well as four players who scored just one point -- Nick DeLeon ($6.7), Collin Martin ($5.2), Chris Pontius ($7.7), and Samuel Inkoom ($6.5).

Forwards

Bradley Wright-Phillips (NY, $8.9) scored a hat trick against listless Seattle for 17 points to lead all forwards and all players. Amarikwa and Keane's 12 points were good enough to tie for second, along with Portland's Fanendo Adi ($6.1), who scored 2 goals. United's Michael Seaton ($4.3) was the only forward to score, with 1 point.

Looking Ahead

Everyone plays once, and Seattle is the only team to play twice, so get in your Stefan Freis ($5.1), Clint Dempseys ($10.5), and Obafemi Martins ($9.6). Otherwise, Steve Clark is a good goalkeeper bet for the Crew at home against Montreal, and Chris Schuler (RSL, $9.3) in defense at Vancouver. Javier Morales (RSL, $10.9) is still hot right now in the midfield, and try on Dom Dwyer (SKC, $8.4) at forward at home against New England.

Everyone's Adding: G - Stefan Frei (+337), D - DeAndre Yedlin (SEA, $7.4, +200), M - Clint Dempsey (+543), F - Obafemi Martins (+496)

Everyone's Dropping: G - David Ousted (VAN, $4.9, -78), D - Dan Gargan (LA, $7.3, -147), M - Pedro Morales (VAN, $8.5, -219), F - Thierry Henry (NY, $11.0, -233)
