Hi there. So the computer I got a couple of weeks ago is being exchanged, so hooray for me!

Legendary DC United announcer Dave Johnson determined his battle with MS will have a different ending than his mom’s (MLS): Another good read on the guy we all wish the best for.

A weird yet consistent weekend in international soccer for D.C. United players:

  • Junior Moreno played 90 in Venezuela’s 1-0 World Cup Qualifier loss to Brazil,
  • Edison Flores played 60 in Peru’s 2-0 World Cup Qualifier loss to Chile,
  • Erik Sorga came on as a second half substitute and played 35 in Estonia’s 2-1 UEFA Nations League Group play loss to North Macedonia.

Down a level, Loudoun United’s Kairou Amoustapha was a 90+4 substitute in Niger’s 1-0 win over Ethiopia, his first senior team cap after several at various youth and U21 levels.

In fact, the guy who surprised the most was a D.C. alum; Alhaji Kamara came on as a second half sub, and scored twice en route to Sierra Leone’s 4-4 draw with Nigeria. Highlights of that here:

United States women will play Netherlands away November 27 (SSFC): Hey, hooray!

USMNT considering December camp and match (SSFC): Hooray again!

Episode 10 - Expansion Draft reactions with Susie Rantz and André Carlisle (Plex Weather): The Washington Spirit departures and other Loovul choices are covered.

El mediocampista del DC United señaló que no es “indiferente” tras la muerte de dos jóvenes en la marcha nacional. (Extra): Speaking of Flores, his position on recent protests (following a unilateral Presidential appointment) in Peru are discussed. At last glance Sunday night, this week’s Qualifier between Peru and Argentina is still on.

Derby part company with manager with club bottom of Championship (BBC): This basically means that Wayne Rooney, player-coach is essentially happening now.

Join the B&RU 2020 MLS Playoffs Bracket Challenge (us): Hey do this with us!

Anyway, have a Monday, I’ll be waiting for the UPS guy.
