The quarterfinals of the World Cup start today, and that means every game is a cracker. That is especially true of today, as all four teams could have made a run to at least the semifinals had the draw shaken out differently; instead, two will be going home. With 8 World Cup wins between the four teams, it will be an exciting day. Let’s go!
Uruguay v. France
What to watch for: If they were on the other side of the bracket, I would expect either of these teams to make the Final. Luis Suarez will have to shoulder more of the load today, with Edinson Cavani likely out for this game. He will face Kylian Mbappe and his ever expanding price tag for the summer; a world record could be coming for the teenage Frenchman.

Brazil v. Belgium
What to watch for: Brazil finally put it all together against Mexico, solidly beating the last remaining CONCACAF side. With all of the talent in the world, the remain the favorite against anyone they play. Belgium and Romelu Lukaku will have to be perfect on the day to beat them, though with Eden Hazard, Lukaku, and friends, they have the firepower to pull it off.
