Portland Thorns vs. Washington Spirit live stream 2016: Game time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The Spirit start their road trip tonight with a rematch against the Thorns

Two weeks after the Washington Spirit battled Portland Thorns FC to a scoreless draw at the Maryland Soccerplex, the last two unbeaten NWSL teams meet again tonight in Portland. Despite the goalless result, the match featured 23 shots, Thorns midfielder and USWNT star Tobin Heath being ejected, and five yellow cards.

Tonight's game will be a tough test for the 4-0-1 Spirit. Washington faces arguably the strongest midfield in the NWSL, though their midfield trio can match Portland's quality. They'll also face their former head coach, Mark Parsons, in front of over 10,000 Thorns fans. In their first matchup this season, the Spirit had the upper hand in the first half and should have come into halftime with a goal, if not more. The Spirit's back four also performed well and held one of the best attacks in the league to a shutout. If the Spirit can capitalize on their chances and post another great defensive performance, a win on the road is definitely within reach.
