The Women's World Cup continues today as Groups C and D - the latter of which includes the USWNT - get started in Vancouver and Winnipeg, respectively. The day's slate of games opens with an intriguing clash in Group D, where a strong Sweden team will face a Nigeria side that is good enough to spring an upset. That's followed by Cameroon vs. Ecuador, a game in which both teams will be making their WWC debut.

Those games will serve as the prelude for the 2015 debuts for both 2011 finalists. First up, the United States will take on a speedy Australian side that won't be overawed by the big names the USWNT brings on the field. Then, the nightcap: Japan - the defending champions - will be an extremely stern test for Switzerland, another debutant in WWC play.
