Filibuster podcast episode 216: Smart nuanced answers to dumb questions

We end the 2016 season and start 2017

It is Tuesday, it is expansion draft day, and it is Filibuster day! Jason, Ben, and Adam start off the show by talking about the Richmond Kickers' new stadium deal before getting to MLS Cup and specifically how it wasn’t nearly as bad a game as people have been saying it was. We talk about the game itself and how Tosaint Ricketts completely changed it when he came on.

We give cake or death to the last few players on D.C. United’s roster, including Marcelo Sarvas, Rob Vincent, and Travis Worra, before going into the expansion draft. We talk about the trades of Miguel Aguilar and Kennedy Igboananike, and what they meant for the 11 players that D.C. United was able to protect from Atlanta United and Minnesota United. Finally, we talk about the expansion draft writ large and who those two interlopers United might do. Give it a listen!
