Monday was the single busiest day in MLS this season, and the Filibuster team is here to help walk you through everything that happened. We talk about the international roster spots that D.C. United traded to both Orlando City SC and NYCFC in exchange for GarberBucks. the trade with the Houston Dynamo for Andrew Driver and a draft pick in exchange for Joe Willis and Samuel Inkoom, the contract options that were declined, Jeff Parke specifically, and the names that are on D.C. United's protected list.
We then talk about actual soccer on the field, going back to MLS Cup between the LA Galaxy and New England Revolution. We break down the game by going through the three goals, and talk about Robbie Keane's performance overall.
We go around MLS in this offseason so far, and talk about the defenders Orlando City has acquired, which expansion team we think is doing a better job so far, and what is going on with Sporting Kansas City. We end the episode going through the expansion draft protected lists of all the other MLS teams to see who OCSC and NYCFC might be taking on Wednesday. Give it a listen!
