Sadly it is the end of D.C. United's 2014 season, and the Filibuster crew is here to talk you through it. We start, of course, with the game itself. We ask if there was more that D.C. United could have done in this game, we debate the strategy of the opening 30 minutes, we pine for Luis Silva, we talk about the away goals rule and whether or not in penalizes the higher seed, and we talk about novel playoff formats that might make things more interesting.
We then talk about the rest of the MLS Cup playoffs so far, including Gregg Berhalter being crazy, how much of a mess the Columbus Crew were, how much of a mess Real Salt Lake's defense was, and talk about the Seattle Sounders and FC Dallas game that happened after we recorded but before this got to you.
Finally, we crack open the twitterbox and answer questions such as which Richmond Kickers player would D.C. United want, if we are rooting for the New England Revolution now, Eddie Johnson's future with D.C. United, did Ben Olsen lose the Coach of the Year award, and so much more. Give it a listen!
