The Filibuster train keeps a-rollin' down the line, and the guys start by talking about the (mercifully) season ending loss to the Houston Dynamo. At one point, there is a bloodless coup wherein Jason and Ben take control of the podcast, but their reign last only long enough to talk a little more about the Houston game over Adam's protestations. The guys talk about the site's plans for the offseason, including the Cake or Death series and the Benny Awards, while talking about whether or not DeRo should get cake, or death.
The guys then move into a news roundup, with some sad front office changes and some happy news about negotiations to renew the D.C. United-Richmond Kickers affiliation deal. And we end the show by talking a little bit about the silly plan to expand the World Cup to 40 teams as well as by making our picks for the first round and a half of the MLS Cup Playoffs.
