MLS Power Rankings, Week 25: The leaders get some company

The top of the Supporters Shield is crowded in this week's Power Rankings.

Last week, there were only two teams that were above the 40-point mark in the Supporters Shield standings. The rest of the field was trying to figure out a way to catch up with leaders FC Dallas and the Colorado Rapids. Well, looks like they have done just that in Week 25. This week, the teams that needed to win to keep pace with the leaders got the 3 points they were looking for, and what was a two-team race last week is now a crowded field at the top.

For the teams fighting for playoff spots, this week will be crucial to making strides towards that goal. A healthy slate of midweek games means that teams will want to gain some ground. Can teams like our beloved D.C. United, Seattle Sounders and the New England Revolution get the job done midweek and create some separation above the playoff line entering the weekend?

Alright, the rankings are ready. Hit the comments section and tell us what you think about this week's games. Who's going to gain some ground? Who will falter? The floor is yours!
