MLS Power Rankings, Week 33: One more week

There's one more week left...who will step up in the Power Rankings?

Texas, the eyes of the league are upon you.

The playoff line is as red as ever, as we draw to the final week of the season. Week 33 saw a couple teams finally squander their chances to make the playoffs, while in the Western Conference, 4 teams will fight it out for the final 3 spots above that red line. In the Supporters Shield race, all eyes are on FC Dallas as a win secures the Shield. Still, the Colorado Rapids have a shot at bringing the Shield home with a win and a Dallas loss.

Really, everyone's just trying to get on D.C. United's level, as our beloved Black-and-Red are the hottest team in the entire league with 4 straight wins. Those 12 points have taken United from the offseason to possibly hosting a wildcard match in the postseason. That's the kind of heat the other 19 teams in the league wish they had right about now, but I'm hoping that we can just hang onto it into November and December.

Now, time for the rankings. DCU is the hottest team, creeping into the top 5. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Union have struggled lately and are down well into the teens. FC Dallas still holds onto the top spot. But, let's hear from you. Who's ranked too high entering the final week? Who's too low? Does the Black-and-Red deserve the #4 ranking? Sound off...you know where the comments section is!
