MLS Power Rankings, Week 26: 19's a crowd

Last week's results mean a crowded bunch in this week's Power Rankings.

San Jose is rising to new heights.

Week 26 saw most of the top teams take a tumble in league play, the middle teams make a statement and some of the bottom feeders really solidify their place at the bottom of the table.  Only 19 points separate the top team in the Supporters Shield standings, the Galaxy, from the bottom team (Philadelphia).  And with the calendar now flipped to the month of September, we're really into the playoff chase now.  Every match counts.  And with several teams off this coming weekend and many of the league's stars on international duty, we're in a calm period before the playoff race gets into high gear.

Fresh off the 3-0 victory, the Red Bulls are on top of the Power Rankings, while the turmoil facing L'Impact have them holding down the cellar.  The Black & Red fall to 7 this week.  So, now it's your turn to have a say.  What did you make of last week's results?  What teams do you think get the heat they need to be the teams to beat moving forward?  Comments time...speak your mind!
