MLS Power Rankings, Week 27: Idle hat tricks

Didier Drogba's hat trick overshadowed a cupboard of idle teams in this week's Power Rankings.

In a week where half of Major League Soccer's teams went idle, Didier Drogba decided to provide the action. His hat trick against Chicago last Saturday, his first three goals since moving to Montreal, was the highlight in a weekend with only 5 games. Drogba's hat trick propelled Montreal to a 4-3 victory over Chicago and lifting them out of the basement in this week's MLS Power Rankings.

The Revolution and Dallas were the 2 teams that made the biggest statement this past weekend, while Orlando and San Jose both missed prime opportunities to jump above the playoff line in the Eastern and Western Conferences, respectively. The Red Bulls remain the top team in the Power Rankings this week, while NYCFC is your new basement tenant. The Black & Red stay in the 7th position this week.

So, now it's your turn to have a say. Where do you see the Top 10? Who's poised to make a jump in the playoff race and in the Power Rankings? You know the drill: hit the comments and give us your hot take!
