MLS Power Rankings, Week 25: I got 5 on it

5 was the magic number in this week's Power Rankings

Five. One, two, three, four, FIF.  That's how many goals San Jose, Toronto and LA dropped on their opponents this past week.  It was a wild output of goals, particularly LA's star-studded goalfest on international TV.  While some of the other matches this week contained some action, it was the Quakes' 5-0 stomping of Sporting, Toronto's 5-0 blanking of Orlando and LA's 5-1 beatdown of NYCFC that had everyone talking.  These results may not be good for the teams on the other end of the assault, but it kept MLS on the minds of people around the world.  Let's hope this week it's our beloved Black & Red that is dropping 5 goals this weekend.

The Galaxy stay in the top spot this week, with Vancouver hot on their heels in the Supporters Shield race and the Power Rankings.  San Jose jumps 7 spots with their combined 7-0 output in their two victories, while Chicago continues to hold down the bottom of the totem pole.  Now, of course, it's your turn.  What did you think of last week's results?  Is United slotted in the right spot?  What team is poised to make the jump and which teams are about to run out of steam?  Sound off in the comments and let us know!
