MLS Power Rankings, Week 21: Goals, goals, goals!

The floodgates opened during league play in this week's Power Rankings.

Don't worry Andrea, we were caught off guard by the amount of scoring too.

39. That's the number of goals scored in Major League Soccer play this past weekend. MLS, you were doing your thing! The weather was hot across the country and so was the action on the field, with some fantastic games on national television (including our Black & Red). These are the types of games you want to see during the summertime when a lot of the soccer world is paying attention. With the league's stars set to take the field tonight in the MLS All Star Game against Tottenham Hotspur, it's a good time for the league to be firing on all cylinders. Let's hope the teams can continue to ride the wave of providing quality play and lots of goals for the league's fans.

With the Galaxy's loss to Houston last weekend, Dallas is your new number 1.  The Black & Red are up to the 2nd position, but should try and not give up 2 goals in the first 4 minutes of games...or the last 4 minutes of games, while we're at it.  Chicago is still holding it down in the basement and hoping to transfer the lease to another team going forward.

Have your say in the comments below...you know what to do!
