MLS Week 7 Fantasy Soccer & Non-D.C. United Open Thread

If you're a D.C. United fan watching other games this weekend, we've got an open thread with your name on it right this way.

Drew Hallowell

This week's slate of MLS games includes everything from cripple fights to top-of-the-table clashes. The weekend starts off with two doses of the former, as the Philadelphia Union host Toronto FC and the New England Revolution travel west to take on the Seattle Sounders. I've deliberately overlooked the other 4:00 game today: Vancouver Whitecaps vs. Real Salt Lake, as those two teams have looked to fall into both categories at various points through this short season-to-date.

The biggest game of the day for neutrals might be LA Galaxy vs. FC Dallas, two Western Conference teams having lots of league success through the first month and change of the 2013 campaign, but the most entertaining game of the weekend might be the nightcap: Chivas USA hosting the Colorado Rapids in what should be an end-to-end affair.

Sunday sees three games, two of them nationally televised (one each in English and en Espanol). First, the Montreal Impact welcome the Columbus Crew to Stade Saputo in what could be another reminder to a certain unnamed team in New Jersey that you can, in fact, play in the white stuff. Then the Houston Dynamo take on the Chicago Fire in what many expect to be the Slaughter of the Week. Portland Timbers vs. the San Jose Earthquakes caps off the weekend.

Here's the spot for all your Fantasy MLS and other non-D.C. United conversation this weekend. This is your open thread.
