Richmond Kickers versus Charleston Battery: USL PRO streaming, prediction, lineups, and gamethread

The Richmond Kickers welcome their old rival, the Charleston Battery, to town this evening as the middle game of a three week homestand. The Battery are surprisingly bad this season, sitting in a four-way tie for last place. But don't let their record fool you; Kickers-Battery games are always contentious, and this one should be no different.

Time: 7:00 PM EDT

Venue: City Stadium, Richmond, Va.

D.C. United players in attendance: The typical three of Joe Willis, Conor Shanosky, and Christiano Francois should all be in town for this game. Will Kyle Porter, Michael Seaton, or others be in attendance as well? We will just have to see.

Projected starting XI: Joe Willis starts in goal, as always, with Alex Lee, William Yomby, Conor Shanosky, and Sascha Goerres in front of him. The defensive midfield will be Luke Vercollone and Samuel Asante, with Shay Spitz, George Davis IV, and Nate Robinson in attacking midfield. Matthew Delicate starts up top.

Prediction: The Kickers are playing well, and need the points to keep pace at the top of the league. 2-0 victory for the men in red.
