The Richmond Kickers take on the artists formerly known as Phoenix FC tonight at 7:00 PM at City Stadium. Your intrepid Richmond correspondent will be making his triumphant return to the press box, so watch the game on YouTube (or come to the stadium) and hang out with me!
Time: 7:00 PM EDT
Venue: City Stadium, Richmond, Va.
Streaming: As with all USL PRO games this season, this game will be streamed live and in living color on YouTube. You can watch it here, or on many of your set-top devices if you want it on your TV.
D.C. United players in attendence: Via the training photographs the Kickers put on Facebook, it is likely that Conor Shanosky, Joe Willis, and Christiano Francois will be with them tonight. I would expect that at least one or two more of the recent loanees, such as Taylor Kemp, Collin Martin, Jared Jeffrey, Kyle Porter, and Michael Seaton, will make the trip as well.
Projected starting XI: Joe Willis, of course, will start in goal, with Alex Lee, William Yomby, Conor Shanosky, and Taylor Kemp in front of him. Mike Callahan and Samuel Asante will start in defensive midfield, with George Davis IV, Collin Martin, and Luke Vercollone in front of them. Matthew Delicate will start up top (unless Michael Seaton is in town).
Prediction: Arizona United have started off well, but this is their first road game ever and it is a cross-country game. They then have to drive to Harrisburg and take on the City Islanders tomorrow evening, so I will go with a 2-1 Kickers win.
What are you drinking? I will be in the press box, but if I weren't I would be enjoying a Modelo courtesy of tonight's Fiesta Latina.
As always, this is your place for pre-game, in-game, and post-game chatter.
