Richmond Kickers versus Rochester Rhinos: Streaming, prediction, lineups, and gamethread

The Richmond Kickers take on the Rochester Rhinos in a Friday night spectacular.

Suz Kitsteiner

The Richmond Kickers beat up on the Dayton Dutch Lions last weekend, winning 5-1; however, the one Dayton goal came off of a bad mistake by Joe Willis, coming off his line but not making it to the ball. Hopefully now that he is back in Richmond, Willis can develop some consistency and get back to the player he has been in the past. Since there is no D.C. United game to conflict, you should watch Willis and the other seven D.C. United loanees tonight in action against the Rochester (Ragin') Rhinos.

Time: 7:00 PM EDT

Venue: City Stadium, Richmond, Va.

Streaming: As with all USL PRO games this season, it will be streamed live and in color on YouTube.

D.C. United players in attendance: From the photographs that the Richmond Kickers put on Facebook, it looks like Collin Martin, Jared Jeffrey, Joe Willis, Conor Shanosky, Kyle Porter, Taylor Kemp, Christiano Francois, and Jalen Robinson will all be with the Kickers for tonight's game.

Projected starting XI: Joe Willis will start in goal, with Luke Vercollone, Conor Shanosky, William Yomby, and Taylor Kemp in front of him. Mike Callahan and Samuel Asante will start in defensive midfield, with Kyle Porter, Collin Martin, and George Davis IV in attacking midfield. Matthew Delicate will get the start as the loan striker, after scoring a brace against the Dayton Dutch Lions.

Prediction: Rochester is a good team, and are the affiliates of the New England Revolution. However, with its full compliment of D.C. United loanees, I think that the Kickers will win by a comfortable 3-1 scoreline.

What are you drinking? It is a beautiful day here in Richmond, with the Kickers offering a two beers/two tickets package, so what else could it be besides Kick It Hunny?

As always, this is your place for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game chatter.
