Richmond Kickers vs. Charlotte Eagles: Streaming, lineup, prediction and gamethread

New, 3 comments

If you can't make it to RFK, make it a two screen experience and watch the Richmond Kickers too.

While I hope that most of you will be at our meetup in Lot 8 today, some of the fanbase lives too far away to make it or can't make it today due to a host of other reasons. If you fall into that category, don't despair: you can watch D.C. United and the Richmond Kickers together, cheering both on (hopefully) to victory.

Time: 7:00 PM EDT

Venue: Queens Sports Complex, Charlotte NC

Streaming: New for 2014, all USL PRO games will be streamed live on YouTube, which means that replay will be available right after the game.

Projected Richmond Kickers starting XI: There are a slew of loanees with the Kickers, but confusion as to which ones actually made the trip. Taking a wild guess, I would say that Ryan Taylor will start in goal, with Sascha Goerres, Henry Kalungi, William Yomby, and Alex Lee ahead of him. Mike Callahan and Samuel Asante will start in defensive midfield, with Luke Vercollone, Collin Martin, and George Davis IV in front of them. Michael Seaton will start the game up top.

Prediction: Can't bet against the Kickers, not yet at least. 2-1 to them over Charlotte.

What are you drinking? I don't know yet, but it will be in Lot 8 this afternoon. Come join us!
