Richmond Kickers vs. Charlotte Eagles: USL Pro semifinal streaming, lineups, predictions, and GameThread

The Richmond Kickers take on the Charlotte Eagles in the USL Pro semifinals tonight; the winner will face Orlando City SC in the final.

USA TODAY Sports

The Richmond Kickers are back in action tonight, taking on the Charlotte Eagles in the USL Pro semifinals. The first regular season game between the two was a high scoring affair in which Conor Shanosky had to score on a stoppage time header to tie the game up at 3 goals apiece. The other game was a much tighter affair, with Joseph Ngwenya scoring the game's only goal, so any result is possible between these two teams.

Three D.C. United players will be with the Kickers tonight: Andrew Dykstra, Conor Shanosky, and Michael Seaton. Seaton got injured during the last part of the season, which has allowed the Kickers' all time leading scorer, Matthew Delicate, to reclaim a starting role after a year and a half of injuries. Shanosky and Dysktra have been key parts of the league's best defense all year, with the Kickers putting out a compilation video of Dykstra's saves throughout the year. If these two play up to their standards, the Kickers should win this game.

Time: 7:00pm

Venue: City Stadium, Richmond, Va.

Streaming: This game, as well as all others, are available on uslnation.com.

Projected lineup: Andrew Dykstra will be in goal, with Alex Lee, William Yomby, Conor Shanosky, and Sascha Goerres in front of him. Mike Callahan and Luke Vercollone will be the defensive midfielders, with Brian Ownby, Joseph Ngwenya, and Nate Robinson in front of them. Matthew Delicate will start up top.

Predicted score: I think the Kickers will continue to play tight, but they will still end up with a 2-0 victory.

What are you drinking? Nothing for me in the press box, but I have a Saranac sampler for after the game.
