Richmond Kickers vs. Orlando City SC: Streaming, lineups, prediction, and GameThread

The RIchmond Kickers take to the road to take on the top team in USL Pro, Orlando City Soccer Club.

Mike Edmonds

The Richmond Kickers are on their first back to back road trip of the season, taking on Orlando City SC tonight and then taking on VSI Tampa Bay tomorrow night. This is the Kickers' first look at the defending Commissioner's Cup champions (the USL Pro version of the Supporter's Shield) and they will have to do so, as they have so often recently, without most of their D.C. United loanees. We expect Casey Townsend, Conor Shanosky, and Taylor Kemp to be with United, and after these two games they will also be without the service of Andrew Dykstra. But this year's team is deeper than last year's team, so they still might be able to thrive on their long road trip.

Time: 7:30pm

Venue: Citrus Bowl, Orlando, Florida

Streaming: As always, USL Pro games are streamed for free online.

Projected lineup: For the last time this month, Andrew Dykstra will be in goal. In front of him will be William Yomby and Henry Kalungi, with Alex Lee and Shane Johnson as the fullbacks. Luke Vercollone and Mike Callahan will be in defensive midfield, with Nate Robinson, Joseph Ngwenya, and Brian Ownby in front of them. Look for Michael Seaton to start up top.

Prediction: Will Orlando City be able to give the Kickers their first lost this year? I say no, and predict a 1-1 draw.

What are you drinking? I'm not sure what I'll be drinking quite yet, but it will likely be bourbony.

As always, this is your place for pre-game, in-game, and post-game chatter!
