D.C. United Social Media Spotlight: Bedtime with DeRo

Like many soccer fans today, I am a huge user of most popular social media sites including Twitter and Instagram. Often I come across some hilarious postings from D.C. United players, fans, and even the club itself. In this first installment of Social Media Spotlight -- who better to "spotlight" on Black and Red United than D.C. United captain, Dwayne De Rosario.

What type of bedtime stories would you guess a former MLS MVP, 4-time Canadian Player of the Year, and current member of D.C. United reads to his kids each night to end their day? Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Suess? Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown? How about a more soccer themed book such as Winners Never Quit by Mia Hamm?

Guess again!

Looks like DeRo has quite a sense of humor after seeing some of the children's bedtime stories he posted on his Instagram account (dwaynedero7) this past weekend.

Here is another book any parent with a sense of humor would surely enjoy reading to their kids after a long evening:
