First reported by Steven Goff and later made official by MLS, D.C. United midfielder Marcelo Sarvas was suspended one game for this tackle on midfielder Derrick Jones in last week’s win over the Philadelphia Union:

The Disciplinary Committee ruled that Sarvas “endangered the safety” of Jones, but made the decision to suspend him for this week’s game against New York City FC, along with fining him an undisclosed amount.
What this likely means for the Black-and-Red is that Jared Jeffrey will take over for Sarvas this week, playing behind Luciano Acosta and Ian Harkes in midfield. Outside chances for the defensive midfield position such as Harkes or trying to introduce Julian Buescher or Chris Durkin exist though they are long shots at best.
Either way, the Black-and-Red will be looking at their 4th different central midfield trio in their 5th regular season game.
