Bill Hamid Called Up to U.S. Team for Costa Rica Friendly

United's star GK is with the USMNT as Klinsmann cycles players in.

Per both the team and U.S. Soccer, D.C. United goalkeeper Bill Hamid has been brought into the United States roster for Tuesday's friendly with Costa Rica at Red Bull Arena. Hamid was brought in to replace Real Salt Lake keeper Nick Rimando, one of five moves Jurgen Klinsmann made after yesterday's loss to Mexico, moves that were expected to some degree after bringing his best players from his initial 35-man roster to the game.

The roster for Tuesday's game is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Bill Hamid (D.C. United), Tim Howard (Everton)

Defenders: Ventura Alvarado (Club America), Geoff Cameron (Stoke City), Brad Evans (Seattle Sounders), Fabian Johnson (Borussia Monchengladbach), Michael Orozco (Club Tijuana), Tim Ream (Fulham), Jonathan Spector (Birmingham City)

Midfielders: Alejandro Bedoya (Nantes), Mix Diskerud (New York City FC), Jermaine Jones, Lee Nguyen (New England Revolution), Brek Shea (Orlando City SC), Danny Williams (Reading), DeAndre Yedlin (Sunderland)

Forwards: Jozy Altidore (Toronto FC), Bobby Wood (Union Berlin), Andrew Wooten (FC Sandhausen), Gyasi Zardes (LA Galaxy)
