Highlights - D.C. United 4-1 FC Dallas

Watch as the Black-and-Red run rampant over 10-man FC Dallas.

Well that was as much fun as I've had at RFK in a while. Goals from Fabian Espindola (x2), Sean Franklin and captain Bobby Boswell were more than enough to see off FC Dallas and overcome Mauro Diaz's opener. The visitors, specifically right fullback Zach Loyd, must have felt that United were hard done by the referees last weekend and did their best to ensure the Black-and-Red would enjoy a man advantage, Loyd collecting two deserved yellow cards before halftime. Unlike last week, los Capitalinos properly exploited being a man up, moving the ball sideline-to-sideline and punishing Dallas for the remainder of the game.

Eddie Johnson finally got on the score sheet - but in the assist column. Espindola kept his goalscoring form alive. Sean Franklin's cool finish and nonchalant celebration made him look more like a striker than a fullback. And just for good measure, United bundled home a goal in a post-corner kick scramble against the current kings of the set piece in MLS. Good times.
