U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals - D.C. United vs. New England Revolution: live streaming, projected lineup, prediction and live thread

The round of 8 in the 100th edition of the oldest pro soccer tournament in America goes off tonight, and D.C. United play host to the New England Revolution in the Maryland suburbs, with a trip to the semifinals on the line. Vamos!

USA TODAY Sports

We said it two weeks ago, and it's true again: D.C. United will play the most important match of their season-so-far tonight. And just like two weeks ago, when they beat the Philadelphia Union 3-1 to advance to tonight's U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal against the New England Revolution, it will be a home game played somewhere other than RFK Stadium. Big, big game in a small stadium somewhere up Interstate 270. Season on the line. Let's do this.

Time: 7 pm EDT

Venue: Maryland SoccerPlex, Boyds, Md.

Streaming: Available at dcunited.com/live, with lucky charm Tony Limarzi once again behind the mic.

Projected D.C. Lineup: 4-2-3-1 (R to L) - Joe Willis; Chris Korb, Conor Shanosky, Daniel Woolard, Taylor Kemp; John Thorrington, Perry Kitchen; Nick DeLeon, Dwayne De Rosario, Chris Pontius; Carlos Ruiz. We might also see Lionard Pajoy or Casey Townsend up top, and Kyle Porter could easily slot into one of the wide midfield spots.

Prediction: This one's going to be tough, and I think it goes to extra time. United to pull it out, though, either during the extra frames or in penalty kicks.

What Are You Drinking?: Gin rickey, no sugar. Next question.

Check in with us down in the comments if you're at the SoccerPlex tonight, and let us know what the scene's like up in Boyds. If you aren't at the Plex, watch on the live stream and follow along in the comments here.

As you surely know by now, this is your place for pre-game, in-game and post-game conversation.
