The Black-and-Red host the two-time defending regular season MLS Eastern Conference champs in what local fans will hope turns into an upset. We've got all the information you'll need to be ready for the game this afternoon.

Think of somebody you'd want to play if you were an MLS team on the ropes and riding a seven-game losing streak. Now picture the exact opposite. There's a good chance you're thinking of Sporting Kansas City, D.C. United's opponents tonight. Here goes nothing.

Venue: RFK Memorial Stadium, Washington, DC.

Time: 5 pm EDT

TV: Comcast SportsNet (MLS Live outside of the metro area), Univision Deportes

Projected D.C. Lineup: Bill Hamid back in goal, replacing Joe Willis after his week off. A back four of Chris Korb, Brandon McDonald, Ethan White and Taylor Kemp. Perry Kitchen anchoring the midfield behind Kyle Porter, Raphael Augusto, Dwayne De Rosario and Nick DeLeon. Casey Townsend up top, with Chris Pontius making a second-half appearance off the bench.

Prediction: Last week I hadn't reached the point of saying "screw it" and predicting a D.C. win just because "screw it." I have now reached that point. We'll say 2-1 United tonight.

What Are You Drinking?: At this point, I'll try anything that might superstitiously get United to win. Even drinking a macrobrew. So this afternoon, I will set aside my craft beer snob card for a few hours and order a Budweiser at the game. Desperate times and all that.
